Building Resilient Communities:
NJ’s Source to Support Individuals, Youth and Families
The NJ Prevention Hub is your gateway to substance use prevention resources across New Jersey. Serving all 21 counties, we connect individuals, families, and professionals to a network of local agencies dedicated to preventing substance use.
Our mission is clear: to provide access to evidence-based education, interventions, and strategies that proactively address the risk factors influencing youth substance use and to help build resilient, flourishing communities.

Why Do We Need Prevention in Our Communities?
In New Jersey, as in many places, the early use of alcohol and other drugs can set the stage for addiction. By focusing on prevention, we aim to intercept these behaviors early, fostering safer, healthier communities where our youth and families can thrive. The Prevention Hub equips everyone from parents and schools to law enforcement and faith-based organizations with the tools needed to build resilience against substance use and its devastating impacts.
